The Technical day « Open and Collaborative Robotics » held in conjunction with ISRM2015 will be dedicated to highlighting development and research advances in industrial robotics and automation, covered by industry professionals, professors and researchers working on collaborative robotics issues.
This technical day will be co-organized by B&R Automation and Pprime institute of the University of Poitiers on Tuesday 23 June, 2015 at the Futuroscope campus in Poitiers. It aims to share and build relationships between industrials and researchers of mechatronics.
The theme of the technical day « Open and Collaborative Robotics », in the field of interest of the robotics team of Pprime institute, will focus on the technological advances in human-robot interaction, collaborative robots and open control architectures.
The presentations and exhibitions will focus on three topics:
- Topic 1: Collaborative Robotics,
- Topic 2: Innovative Industrial Applications,
- Topic 3: Open Control Architecture.
In order to develop these topics, presentations linked to the current research and industrial context will be proposed. Panel discussions between researchers and industry professionals will follow each session.
Many visitors, representatives of industrial companies, master and PhD students, academic members and researchers are expected. The Technical day offers the opportunity to exchange with experts from the robotics community (researchers and industrials).
Robotics research in Poitiers is performed by the ROBISS team of the Pprime institute. The laboratory is a member of the French national network “ROBOTEX” (http://equipex-robotex.fr/), which unites research equipments in various domains of robotics and which is funded by the French government.
